KIM RITTER KASSNOVE has been performing ever since she staged the 1986 all-cousin version of The Wizard of Oz in her parent’s living room. Kim graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Theater and a minor in Eating Pizza. While at Tufts, Kim was the co-creative director and a performer in the university’s first and only mime troupe, HYPE! While in HYPE! Kim mastered the art of being trapped in a “box." Her parents were thrilled.
Upon graduating from Tufts, Kim became a bartender, hated her life, and decided to bring her passion for performance to a captive audience; she became a middle school Language Arts teacher. For the past 15 or so years, Kim has worked in the world of education, working her way to district administrator and making many exciting stops along the way.
Kim lives in South Orange with her fanatic Jets fan husband Peter, her two children Alice (9) and Owen (5), and their fur baby love bug cat named Oakley. Kim is the author of the blog Quick While the Kids Are Sleeping, and in her spare time she likes to take storytelling classes, watch Bravo, go running, and gossip with her friends.
